Blooming in style

Guess? top, Banana Republic shoes

Bold floral prints became of the top trends of this Spring/Summer and are completely taking over our closets, “blooming” on our dresses, shoes, bags and even jewelry. In the world of “boyfriend” jeans and masculine blazers they bring to us the touch of femininity and glamour.

Lush and colorful, florals are super fun to wear, while being extremely easy to use in building an outfit. They beautifully work with solid hues picked up from the pattern or even with other subtle prints like stripes, polka dots or checks; everything depends on how far you are willing to go in mixing prints.

Roses, lilies and tulips found their sunny spot even in denim fashion and now are blossoming on tens of styles of different jeans. Pretty much every single denim brand offers you at list a few options of floral pants. And honestly what can be better for the warm and active days of spring and summer than a pair of fun and vibrant jeans? I myself already have two, The 7 For All Mankind Garden Party Skinny that I have mentioned about in one of my posts and The Kauai Print Skinny, which I totally love!

One of the modern updates of a classic floral print is the 3D florals, which look like a photo coming to life right while you are wearing it. Some with futuristic looking design twists, 3D flower prints are just mesmerizing! My favorites are definitely pieces from Givenchy by Ricardo Tisci collection that are simply gorgeous. I love, love his work! But if you are like me and can’t really spend thousands of dollars on a shirt or a dress go to MANGO, there I found strikingly similar to Givenchy pattern which can be an amazing substitute for a high-fashion dream.
