Wide step

Vangeliza Wide-leg linen pants, GUESS? sweater, shoes, bracelet,

I don’t even know why it took a massive sunburn on my legs to make me finally pull my palazzo pants out of the closet; they've been hanging there with a price tag for many months! So pretty, stylish and comfortable they are such a perfect piece for your summer wardrobe and truthfully I now regret that I didn’t take advantage of them much sooner.

French Connection Pants Dixie - Blaze, $198
(at Bloomingdale's)

Theyskens' Theory 'Paige Frandi' Wide Leg Silk Pants, $495
(at Nordstrom)

Palazzo pants have been a huge trend for the last couple of seasons and it seems this summer they have reached their apex. Offered by a vast range of designers and brands in lots of different variations they definitely could be called a staple piece in the wardrobe of every true fashionista. Very bold, edgy while so infinitely elegant and sophisticated these pants convey confidence and refinement.

Even considering the dramatic look of palazzo pants they are fairly easy to style. Pair them with a simple, somewhat fitted top to showcase your hour-glass form, high heels or platform to elongate the leg line and big bulky accessories to balance out their volume.

Alice + Olivia High waist Eric pants, on sale for $207.90 vs $297 originally
(at Bloomingdale's)

Robert Rodriguez Extreme wide silk tuxedo pants, on sale for $129.97 vs $325
(at Nordstrom Rack)

P.S. If you are not a proud owner of palazzo pants yet, now is a great time to get them – discounts are mind blowing!
